Doug Napier Relationship is the key to life change! That is what you will hear from our Pastor of Connections, Doug Napier. Before his call to ministry, Doug attended Purdue University to study pre-med. While studying at Purdue, God led Doug's heart to pursue full time ministry. Doug attended Phoenix First Pastor's College in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Studies. Upon graduation, Doug stayed in Arizona and went on staff with Scottsdale First Assembly, a church plant of Phoenix First Assembly that grew to over 1000 attendees in the first year. He and his wife, Amy, also spent five years in Pennsylvania working with young adults and connection groups.

Doug's passion is to build lasting relationships and connect people to God. At Church on the Rise, Doug oversees Connection Groups, 24/7 Singles, Young Adults, First Impression Ministry, Fellowship One database, Counseling, Discipleship and our IT Department. In his spare time, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their two boys, Josiah and Ayden. He also likes riding his motorcycle and SCUBA diving whenever he gets the chance.
