PASTORAL STAFF
Paul Grodell Rev Paul Grodell is a licensed minister and a "Spiritual Son of the Ministry" of Church on the Rise (COR). It was in 1994 that he and his wife Cindy were invited to COR, where they were radically changed after accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Their lives have exemplified 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

In 1996, Paul & Cindy began ministering to children in the Children's Ministry as well as through other community outreaches. They truly have a heart for children, as they realize that it is easier to "prepare" children and pre-teens, rather than to "repair" teens and adults. They have mentored with John & Shirley Tasch of Tasch Ministries, Int'l, who believe that the Lord does not put an age requirement on those who do the work of the ministry. Pastor John and Shirley have led missions teams all over the world with adults and teens, and children as young as nine years old, praying for the sick and leading children and adults to the Lord.

Paul became the full-time Children's Ministry Director at Church on the Rise in 2003, and since that time, he and Cindy have taken children on short-term missions trips to the Inner City of Cleveland and the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. They have also taken children from the new PULSE Pre-Teen Ministry (grades 5-7) into the streets to make a stand for the rights of the unborn, as well as on other service projects. God is using the children and pre-teens mightily as they are willing to be used by Him.

Paul and Cindy want to help make families whole and raise up children in the Children's Ministry who are strong in the Lord, knowing what they believe and why they believe it. Paul and Cindy live in Cleveland with their two children, Paul III and Jamie, and their two American Bulldogs, Angel and Zacchaeus.
